My PLAATO app has stopped showing data

If your PLAATO app has stopped displaying data, don’t worry—this can usually be resolved quickly.

Here are a few steps you can take to get things back on track:

1. Check Internet Connection

Ensure that both your PLAATO device and your phone/computer are connected to stable internet networks. Poor Wi-Fi connectivity is one of the most common causes of data transmission issues. If the PLAATO Pro is installed in a location with weak Wi-Fi, it may be struggling to upload data. Aim for a Wi-Fi signal strength of 80–100% at the sensor location.

2. Verify Device Power

Make sure your PLAATO Pro is powered on and has sufficient battery. If battery levels are low or depleted, replace the batteries with high-quality C-cell batteries and restart the device.

3. Refresh the App

Try closing and reopening the app. In some cases, refreshing the app can re-establish the data feed.

4. Check for App or Firmware Updates

Make sure you're using the latest version of the PLAATO app, and that your device firmware is up to date. You can check for updates in the app store or through your device settings.

5. Restart the PLAATO Pro

Power cycle the device by removing and reinserting the batteries. This can help reinitiate the connection.
